South Carolina Wedding

I don't think I could convince T to wear a bow-tie, but other than that, isn't it great to see you ideas in action?

Boden Bridesmaid Dresses: Blue/Green

So many options! And don't you just adore that last one...

Boden Bridesmaid Dresses: Blue/Purple

So pretty. And they would complement the stained glass windows at the church!

Boden Bridesmaid Dresses: Red/Pink

The girls don't have to be "in uniform," but they still "match!"

Yes, I am really missing New Mexico today.

...I let my bridesmaids choose any dress they wanted as long as it was somewhere on the color wheel between yellow and red, which actually turned out better than I expected.

Love the dresses*, and, of course, love the background. From a lovely wedding in ABQ, found here.

*I guess really I love the idea of the dresses, although the dresses are quite lovely. For me, I'd do the range from green to blue...maybe even get some turquoise in the mix?

Multicolored Bridesmaid Dresses

Each bridesmaid picks her favorite color and her favorite style...and J. Crew does the rest. Everybody wins?

Blogger Round Up

A grand entrance from Style Me Pretty (with sparklers! and a sweetheart neckline!).

Soft, un-fussy wedding hair from Southern Wedding Magazine.

Multicolor bridesmaid dresses! I know I had my heart set on navy blue, but these look so fun...! (Also from Style Me Pretty)

OK--back to studying!

Vintage Preppy

A real live "vintage Hamptons" wedding, as seen on Ruffled.

Cute details for the back of the RSVP cards.

Yes, those are boat shoes. No, I don't think it's a look I'll be going for, but I had to post it anyway.

The dresses are from Target. Seriously.

...but I love the seersucker, too!

I wish I could remember where I found these pictures, because I just love the bride's dress (I know, I know, I keep talking about wanting a short dress and then posting pictures of long dresses!), and I think the seersucker on the guys and gals worked really well here. Do you think I can convince JTP's cousin to wear seersucker pants?

"Our people"

My people

JTP's people

"Our people" is how JTP refers to our wedding party. These are essentially the looks I'm currently envisioning. What do y'all think?

Backyard Wedding in Sonoma County

I like the style of these flower arrangements--not too fussy, but still bright and pretty.

Mismatched navy blue bridesmaid dresses! I think the look worked well here, although I would want everyone's dress to be about the same length.

More pictures here.

Thread Bridesmaid: Seersucker Bridesmaid Dresses

link

Cotton seersucker--in so many colors and styles. Also, they have pockets. I think each of my bridesmaids could find a style she liked in blue... and maybe a white seersucker one for me?
